Association of Marital and Family Therapy Regulatory Board's (AMFTRB) Examination in Marital and Family Therapy. An applicant must achieve a passing score on the National Marriage and Family Therapy Licensing Examination administered by the Association of Marital and Family Therapy Regulatory Boards (AMFTRB). Once completing national exam and supervised experience, an applicant may apply for the state exam. Also, through endorsement from another licensing jurisdiction, one may apply for the state exam. NDMFTLB will schedule these as needed.

1. National Board of Certified Occupational Therapist (NBOCT) Certified Occupational Therapist Exam (Score of 450) and 2. North Dakota state board of occupational therapy practice administrative rules self assessment.
"Psychologists must complete 3,000 hours of supervised experience. At least 1,500 must be pre-doctoral internship. APA- and CPA-accredited internships are automatically approved. Other internships may be accepted if information supplied by the applicant and supervisor indicate that the experience provided adequate training. The Board will consider the work setting, population served, amount and quality of supervision, and skills attained.

Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology EPPP Have passed the national standardized examination with a minimum score at the national pass score for all doctoral candidates; Oral exam: The oral exam covers ethical and legal issues relevant to the practice of psychology in North Dakota. It requires knowledge of the APA ethics code and ND law and rules. Applicants are expected to be able to identify major legal and ethical issues, and to articulate a course of action to avoid or remedy problems or concerns.

Completion of Speech-Language Pathology practicum involving scope of practice with both adults and children with a minimum of 400 clock hours of supervision of which 375 hours must be in direct patient contact and 25 hours of clinical observation.
