Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence as an audiologist issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA); or 2. Hold a master's degree in audiology from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association; or 3. Hold a master's degree in any subject and have completed the following: A. At least 300 hours of supervised clinical experience in audiology or speech pathology B. At least 60 semester credits in courses related to the normal development, function and use of speech and language or hearing, including, but not limited to, the management of disorders of speech or hearing and the legal, professional and ethical practices of audiology or speech pathology. At least 24 credits, not including credits earned for a thesis or dissertation must have been earned in courses directly relating to audiology or speech pathology.

At least 3,000 hours of experience in an approved internship, including 300 hours under the direct supervision of a board-approved Supervisor. The program to provide the experience must be: 1. Approved by the Board before the applicant begins the program (and) 2. Completed within a maximum of 6 years after the Board approves the program (and) 3. Structured in such a way that an intern's client contact hours do not exceed 20 hours per week to be applied toward internship hours. The composition of these required hours must meet Board approval. The registered Intern must perform the following activities in order to fulfill the requirements: 1. A minimum of 1500 direct client contact hours, performed after applicant has become a Registered Intern. 2. 300 hours of supervision, including a minimum of 160 provided by an Approved supervisor, and a minimum of 40 hours provided by a secondary supervisor(s). The remaining required hours may be met in the same way, up to the required minimum total hours; or the following activities may be submitted for consideration by the Board as fulfillment of the requirements: 1. A maximum of 300 hours as a group facilitator. 2. A maximum of 150 hours of personal therapy, documented by a licensed mental health therapist. 3. A maximum of 200 hours of documented teaching by the intern in such formats as parent education, family education, workshops, or similar teaching activities, to be agreed upon by the Primary Supervisor. 4. A maximum of 50 hours, documented, in additional training, such as university graduate work, a pre-approved workshop, or other training/education activities agreed upon by the Primary Supervisor. 5. A maximum of 500 hours of direct client contact, performed in a graduate program of study, documented, with supervision of at least 100 hours provided by a University Supervisor.

Applicant must have completed 1) practicum, and 2) a minimum of 1000 hour internship in school psychology. Practicum: Could not find specific hour requirements for the practicum. Statute states: To receive credit for completing a practicum, an applicant seeking an endorsement to serve as a school psychologist must be able to show that the practicum: 1. Was taken concurrently with or after his or her last required areas of study in the applicable area of training; and 2. Was supervised by a representative of the educational institution which sponsored the practicum working with a person who holds an endorsement as a school psychologist and is employed by a school district. Internship: The intern's period of service must be started concurrently with or after the last required training in the program of school psychology provided by the educational institution. The period must consist of two full-time regular consecutive semesters or 1,000 hours of supervised and practical experience. The period must be completed within 3 years after it is started. 1. At least half of the period of internship must be served in an accredited school system or a school system which is approved by the Superintendent of Public Instruction. The remaining part may be served in some other public agency which is approved by the Superintendent. 2. The internship must be supervised jointly by: (a) A representative of the graduate program of the educational institution where the intern earned his or her degree; and (b) A person who holds an endorsement as a school psychologist and who is employed in that capacity by a school district, or by a person of equivalent education and training if the internship is in some other public agency. 3. In lieu of an internship consisting of two full-time regular semesters or 1,000 hours, the Superintendent of Public Instruction may accept a partial internship and 3 years of experience as a school psychologist in another jurisdiction if the experience is verified as having been successful.

To be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Nevada, a person must complete a preapproved internship of 3000 postgraduate hours of which at least 2000 hours must be in the area of psychotherapeutic methods and techniques to persons, families and groups to help in the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional conditions in no less than 2 years and no more than 3 years. The remaining hours should be completed in other areas of clinical social work. A minimum of one hour of supervision by an approved supervisor who is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker per week is required. A person who holds a license as a Clinical Social Worker may practice independently.
